Booking Tanji
After the securing fee is paid by the client & confirmation of the booking has been sent by Tanji’s team, the next point of contact will be on the day before your wedding. You will receive a text confirmation by Tanji with the booking details to ensure all is correct. Tanji will then arrive on the day & request to be situated in front of a window to conduct the Bridal Glam in front of Natural Day light. This is to ensure accurate colour match to your preference. Tanji will also require a small table space for her professional kit, and a chair for yourself for the duration. If your wedding gown goes above & over the head, the dress will need to be on before the appointment starts. This is to ensure that it does not scratch the face going down post-makeup.
Tanji will conduct a thorough consultation on the day to discuss your preferences,
from the level of base: Light, Medium, Full Coverage
to the colours on the eyes & intensity of the brows: Soft vs Intense
style of lashes: Cat shape or Round shape, light, medium or full.
lip accentuation: Over-lined, under-lined or natural.
& intensity of your contour, blush and highlight.
It is advised to pre-plan the bridal look. This means providing Tanji with as much information about the ideal look as possible to ensure all requirements are met. Photo examples are great to showcase your desired style. For Tanji’s Professional Bridal Base; when a soft look is requested, the base will still require layering of products to ensure 6Hour+ longevity & consideration for vividness in your professional wedding photography. This may look fuller coverage to those who do not wear makeup regularly but a light weight feel is still guaranteed. Upon immediate completion of the Bridal Look, the base will require 20 minutes to settle. During this time the makeup will appear strong on the surface, please be assured that the softness of the look is achieved once the base has settled after the 20 minutes are over.
Tanji includes an extra 30 minutes within the appointment to implement any changes that you wish to make. This occurs after the completion of your Bridal makeup to guarantee your complete satisfaction. Please ensure to communicate all requests for changes so all of your requirements are met. You are always encouraged to take control of elements of the Bridal Glam, where you feel you would want your own personal touch. It is highly advised to purchase your own lip product of choice before your makeup booking & to be kept with you for re-application throughout the wedding day. Lip Product formulas cannot be guaranteed to last the entire duration of your wedding after eating & drinking, so a top up is always advised.
Clients may request to remain private by opting out of photos being shared on Tanji’s Instagram Portfolio if they so wish.
Communication is absolutely key, if you have certain expectations, you are highly encouraged to express yourself at all times to avoid disappointment.
